Over the past five years the Land Trust's annual Stars benefit concert has evolved into a world-class outdoor music experience. This concert began in 2003 and has been held each year at the spectacular private Yuba Ridge Amphitheater. Over the years the concert gained a reputation for offering top musicians in a setting worth the price of the ticket alone. This year will be much the same experience, although in a new setting.

This year Stars at the Peak, which is the largest annual fundraiser for the Land Trust,
takes place on the grounds of the Pilot Peak Winery.  Our featured performers will be 2008 Grammy nominated, legendary,
Dan Hicks and The Hot Licks, and the much beloved blues slide guitar extraordinaire, Roy Rogers and The Delta Rhythm Kings. 

In addition to the very important goal of fundraising, the concert provides an opportunity for members of our community to gather and enjoy exceptional performers in an intimate and friendly setting.  This concert series has featured such luminaries as Dr. John, Ritchie Havens, Leon Russell, Tuck and Patti, Mary Youngblood, Jessie Colin Young, Leo Kottke, America and Nils Lofgren. 

On-site you'll find incredible music, delicious food (click here for details) and drinks, a wide variety of Pilot Peak wines, great beers, interactive community partner displays and high-quality silent auction; all atop an oak studded peak overlooking the expansive beauty of Penn Valley.
